CeBIT 2011 Hannover
The CeBIT exhibition in Hannover is "the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions". This year's event, made in partnership with Turkey, had Work and Life with the Cloud as a hot topic. With around 4,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, the IT industry shows the latest technology for the digital market.
I had the opportunity of working with 16colours and brandrelation in a feature of the Deutsche Telekom's stand: a hi-res video presented in a 152"-Display about their latest product, the De-Mail. The video shows a 3D typography and image animation of 4 people using digitally signed e-mails in different situations.
You can check out Telekom's stand until the 5th or March at the Pavillion 3 of CeBIT in Hannover.
Shadowlab
The Shadowlab exposition, an experimental laboratory of lights and shadow, gathered more than 200 people in Cologne and Istanbul. Five groups from KISD and one group from BILGI University presented their works in Cologne on the 27th of November, and again in Istanbul on the 5th of December.
I had the role of assisting in the preparation, organization and communication of this event. The difference of cultures was explored in the exposition with the theme "The Other". The groups featured their ideas of the theme applied in the form of shadow in digital or analog formats.
